Susan Larkin, Kim Gauron and Colleen Gauron attended FRU, Family Reunion University at the YMCA of the Rockies the weekend of November 13th 2009. We had a little unexpected but beautiful snow, But we also had a great time learning about all the ins and outs of having /attending a Reunion at Snow Mountain Ranch. We will be sharing all that info over the next few months right here on the blog. If FRU is any indication of what our experience will be like next summer, you can expect a great time. The accommodations at the Lodge (YMCA name for a hotel room) were cozy, comfortable and great - but be prepared for no TV!!!
There will be lots of great activities to keep all ages entertained. The food was great- you can request Gluten Free, Vegan, Vegatarian - basically whatever you want, as long as you give them a heads up.
We also learned that it's not a good idea to leave a cheese stick in the window sill overnight because there are hungry critters in the mountains!
